     Our topic is ’’ Does Human Flesh Search Stands in Justice?’’ I am against it.

    In my opinion, Human Flesh Search is not as right as it seems to be. It has many privacy and illegal problem. If a person really has something wrong or something illegal, but why he has to be forced to expose his personal information like his family’s names or like their telephone numbers into the public. I think this has much to do with the privacy problems. And like the incident Miss. Dong (董小姐) she posted an article on the Internet and tells that a Filipino migrant worker goes to buy a lunch box and she saw that the boss of the lunch box didn’t want to give the lunch box to the migrant worker. And he even told the migrant to get his lunch box on the ground, which is mean, but the incident ends out that Miss. Dong faked the whole incident. But I think that her intention is good to tell the chaotic situation between Philippine and Taiwan. It is the countries’ problem not the individual problem. So she just want to tell everybody that do not treat migrant worker badly. So I think it is not right to expose Miss. Dong’s family and boyfriend’s names into the public, because her boyfriend is innocent. I read an article on Yuan-Zi University and found out that when exposing one’s personal information such as telephone number or address turns out to be illegal. And there is a law that restricts these kinds of problem, which is called Personal Data Protection Law. And I read another article on Chi Chu Magazine, which says that many police officers use Human Flesh Search Engine to search suspects and victims. But it seems that many innocence will have to open their personal information to the public, which causes great pain. Human tends to forget the original purpose of the incident as well as believe what the net pals say. And the net pals are some under graduate so their intention is not good about the incident, so they will become Internet mobs, who will reveal their personal information like paparazzi, which will make the victims expose their information to the whole society. Their life will become harder and more difficult. So I think it is not easy to hold the benevolent motivation in order not to let the mob become irrational. So I think Human Flesh Search seldom stands in the right place.
